You will have the opportunity to learn from professional traders in a live trading environment.

You will spend 3-days with active hedge fund managers, learning all aspects of portfolio management. Our PMs manage a $250m European Long/short portfolio and won the 2014 European Hedge Fund Perfornance Award.

The final 2-days will see you engage in a highly exciting and pressured day trading environment.

This will be a totally unique experience, you will not get the opportunity to gain exposure to this variety of professionals on any other training course.

Coleman Street Training is pioneering an immersive course in European equity market trading. Through exposure to the trading desk of Coleman Street Management delegates will be able to experience first-hand the issues that are driving today’s equity markets and the manner in which day traders respond to these events.

Delegates will have access to a trading simulation software system which will allow them to mimic the positions of the trading desk, and place their own trades based on the skills and tools introduced during the course. The course will involve direct input from day traders explaining the positions they have taken and the reasons they have taken them at the beginning of each day. A live squawk system between the training room and the trading desk will be used to keep the training room tuned into the markets as the day unfolds. In addition to experiencing the European equity trading day alongside the trading desk, the course will cover the following modules:

• The Principles of Day Trading
• Trading Psychology and Behavioural Finance
• Technical Analysis and Charting
• Risk Management
• Macro and Micro Fundamental News Analysis

The course is ideal for amateur traders, students, support staff and market professional as well as those wishing to expand their knowledge in the professional techniques used in modern financial markets. Those interested in beginning to trade the markets will also benefit from the course as all concepts are taught from a fundamental bottom up perspective.
